Food Retail Group is a king-size restaurant holding comprising dozens of famous restaurants and cafes of St. Petersburg and Moscow, which was launched just a decade ago. Induced by an escalating number of employees it moved to a new, more spacious office last July.

Interior design was ordered from an architect bureau, which has already gained the company’s confidence having arranged the interiors of most of the entities belonging to the holding. And this one resembles a café as well. The most “topical” detail is branded tents arranged over work tables. Besides decorative purpose and bringing thoughts of restaurant terraces, they are meant to protect the residents from sun rays and glaring light from panoramic windows. Authorship to all the ornaments used in interior décor belongs to a Russian artist Eugene Kiselyov.

The space is divided into two work zones with glass partitions: according to the company’s politics there must be no isolated rooms, and even the CEO works behind transparent mobile doors. Between the wings of the building the architects designed a bar with a few tables for the staff only. Here they can break from work or discuss business matters, and nearby the tutors frequently hold trainings for café employees.
