KrikDesign agency was founded in 2005 as a plain design studio. From the outset it was a partnership of two friends, but with time one of them left for another industry and Constantine remained alone. However, spurred by a strong desire to separate personal life from job, which was more like freelance, he set his teeth for renting an office. With time the number of clients surged and they demanded more and more attention. Finally, the company grew from a design studio into a full-fledged agency with its own production.

Now the scope of KrikDesign’s activities has considerably branched: branding and case management have paled into insignificance to give way to rapidly developing digital-direction. The number of company’s employees amounts to 22 people. True, they are dispersed over three offices in one building: so far there is no appropriate alternative in this price segment in the neighborhood.

The development department’s office features three zones — for work, meetings and meals. The interior was planned by the entire team: all the layout, décor and furnishing decisions were made as a result of brain storms. Besides, inspiration was drawn from images of famous international companies’ offices. Chosen as a starting point were restrained color range, brick, wood, and color and light accents. The café zone includes a kitchen and a cozy rest spot. A bar and a round draw-out table easily seat all the employees in dinner-time. The meeting room is equipped with everything necessary for presentations, movie showings and corporate parties: a DJ-stand, monitors and a projector. Red Antares chairs were ordered from Czech Republic, high anatomically-shaped stools by Pedrali — from Italy.

The key element of work zone is a big LED lamp resembling the shape of the agency’s logotype — a diagram. It was custom-made from 4 segments, and the intensity of each is remote-controlled.

In café and negotiation zones IKEA lamps hang — the most simple in the range, but competently composed and decorated with details.
Café zone would be incomplete without a panel with the view of Paris.
But the greatest pride of the owner is two lithographic pictures of mid-1970s from Italian art gallery. To complement them Constantine bought IKEA arm-chair and table, which shaped well into a rest corner. One more picture is a pencil drawing made by Constantine’s friend. A ground squirrel and motley toads arrived from an art gallery in Düsseldorf.
Match-shaped lamp and telescope are Constantine’s birthday presents.
