Oleg Dow – an artist.
Architects: Olga Treivas, Ekaterina Kletskaya.
NUMBER OF ROOMS
Oleg bought his apartment in Aerobus Residential Complex in 2009. It represented a concrete perimeter then. The host decided to cooperate with Olga Treivas, an architect, and Ekaterina Kletskaya, a decorator.
Oleg wanted his interior to be minimalist. It was decided to use mainly natural materials. There are many open spaces due to a good zoning.
The repair took almost a year. There were troubles with gangs: part of walls had to be demolished because construction technology was violated.
The table is with quartz tabletop.
A wooden pot is Le Form. The wall tile in neogedonism style was made from sandstone, and then it was patterned.
The ceiling lamp is Moooi.
The living-room zone was separated from the bedroom by a structure looking like a frame of a partially constructed wall or a greenhouse in the country.
The sofa is Le Corbusier’s design of 1982. The carpet was bought in antique salon in Paris. A coffee table and a TV stand were made from the host’s scratches.
All glassware is Tsé & Tsé. The curtains were tailor made in one of tailor’s workshops.
The animal was bought in antique shop in Barcelona.
There are presents from friends all over the world on shelves of the stack.
Initially Oleg wanted the ceiling to be concrete, but only one beam was left due to technical problems. There is a curtain-rod on it.
The bedbase is from solid nut-tree. The wall is nut veneer. The plaid and pillows were bought from Oleg’s friend Olga Bulygina, a designer.
The lamp with fat is Droog. Oleg bought the lamb on one of modern art fairs in Paris.
A standing lamp is Flos.
The nut veneer stack was made to order from the host’s scratch.
The picture by Aidan Salakhova over the working place is a symbol of new ideas rise and creativity.
