Mauer Buro specializes on selling German doors, partitions and non-standard finishing materials. This office was occupied by the company in 2008 and was chosen based on the location factor: most of the clients – interior design studios and architect bureaus – are located in this very neighborhood of St. Petersburg.

Renovation process lasted about a year under a designer’s guidance. The most challenging task was zoning the space so that included a full-fledged lobby for clients, a meeting room, showroom and general work space. Meanwhile, the designer had to escape the arrangement of a common showroom instead of an office, though Mauer products were actually used in this interior. In particular, rooms and halls were divided with the help of transparent and matt mobile partitions. As for the food zone, it’s most commonly used merely for coffee-breaks.

A conference table was made special for Mauer Buro on a mill specializing on door fittings and accessories. In fact, the office is filled with small stuff manufactured by this mill — from a hole puncher to a chess set. Lamps in the meeting room are made by Artemida (Italy), and arm-chairs standing in the lobby are replicas of popular B&B models.
